There’s a refined attention to detail in the way the space is kept clean and welcoming, matching the careful balance evident in the menu. Whether walking in for an uplifting pastry or picking up a pizza pie crafted with a nuanced char and chew, you sense a quiet pride in quality and flavor.

Baltoz strikes a subtle harmony between classic comfort and inventive touches. The pizzas here offer minimal fuss but thoughtful variations—notes of fresh basil, a hint of spice from pepperoni, or the earthy warmth of mushrooms find their way into each bite. These aren’t just feeding experiences; they’re moments to connect over shared textures, smells, and familiar yet distinct combinations that invite you to savor the here and now.

This is no rushed takeaway joint, but a calm haven where each crust is a small celebration of balance—crispy, chewy, and charred just so. The bakery side blends into this narrative seamlessly, offering flour-dusted pleasures like chocolate croissants and babka, each carrying an understated sweetness that pairs beautifully with the warmth of freshly baked bread.

For anyone curious about Baltimore’s evolving food landscape, Baltoz Bakery quietly stakes a claim not through noise or flash, but through consistent, heartfelt craft. Here, the charm lies in the hum of ovens, the delicate aroma of yeasted dough, and the easy familiarity of a neighborhood place doing what it does best—offering more than just food, but a comfortable corner of everyday delight.

Pizza was great with some unique combinations. We had to drive it home 20 minutes so I’m sure it would be better right out of the oven. 2 pies. $40

Both the sicilian pizza and the regular pie are great! I've been trying to find the best pizza in Baltimore and this is one of the few that will go on that list!

Great place for pizza pickup. We ordered the spicy pepperoni, chicken, and half and half for take away. All were fantastic. The crust is a highlight, perfect mix of crispy, chewy, and char that rivals the best crust in the city. The pizza is pricy but well worth the cost.

Very clean interior. Ordered ahead and chose the mushroom arugula pizza with tomato sauce. Order was ready 10 minutes early. Also picked up a blueberry danish on the spot. Arrived home to find there was no arugula and no number to call! We were hungry and I didn’t feel like driving back for them to fix it and return home with a totally cold pizza. The mushrooms were high quality and the pizza was very tasty. I’m sure it would’ve been even better with the arugula. Definitely a little disappointed after paying over $26 (including tip) for this take-out pizza, so definitely check the box before you leave. Hopefully, they’ll get it right next time.

Ordered here for the first time and beyond impressed! We got the plain cheese and the chicken, both were sooo good. The char on the crust was perfect. I love a classic cheese but the chicken was to die for - so flavorful with a mild heat. Couldn’t get pics of the whole pies because we devoured them as soon as we opened the boxes. *second time back and got a whole pie pic!

We’ve been eyeing this place for a while, but every time we craved pizza, the stars (a.k.a. their hours) never aligned . So we usually defaulted to our usual local spots. But tonight—victory! And oh wow, was it worth the wait. We grabbed a takeout pepperoni pizza, and it was everything you want in a pie: hot, bubbly, crispy, and loaded with flavor. Since we live close, it made it home in perfect shape—like it was hand-delivered straight from the oven to our table. Consider this our new neighborhood pizza favorite. Service-wise, I left things neutral. No one was upfront when I walked in, and after waiting a bit I almost did a dramatic “walk out and back in” just to trigger the sound of the door. Eventually someone appeared, polite enough, and I’ll cut them some slack—it was nearing their closing time. Inside feels a little plain (and honestly not super inviting), but I’d happily sit outside on a nice evening. All in all, we’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’re branching out to try those other mouthwatering pies.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. If you like truly authentic pizza that tastes like nonna used to make, you must check this place out. I’m pretty picky about my pizza, especially the crust. This pizza had no flop even after a 30 minute drive home. Sauce was just right and the cheese was definitely high quality mozzarella.
